Rome holds so much history and it is nearly impossible to ignore the evolution of civilization while there. Each building, each piece of art and every person there has a story. The interconnectivity of human beings around the world seemed to thrust itself into my view when we were in Rome. French, Spanish, Italian, etc. they are all present and very much active members of society and culture. The history is so vivid and has so many angles from which to be approached, it applies to everyone.
